Salto Dupí

Salto Dupí is a community located in the Mironó district within the Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca, in Panama. This area is part of an indigenous region established to grant administrative autonomy and exclusive land rights to the Ngäbe and Buglé indigenous groups. The terrain in Salto Dupí is predominantly mountainous, and the soils are poor in nutrients, conditions that present significant challenges for agriculture. Most of its inhabitants engage in subsistence agriculture, primarily cultivating maize, rice, beans, and plantains, adapting to the limitations of the environment.
